Re: Cream Tea with the Stars on 12th October, 2024.

I want to say Thank you very much for Saturday afternoon.  

Since I booked you for this fundraising event you have been great.  You even designed the posters for me which took a lot of pressure off me.  Then all I had to do was get food organised and sell tickets.

On the day you arrived in good time and set up everything that you needed and you made me relax into the event with no worries.  

You had a just for fun quiz ready for everyone to fill the time as they arrived and the show starting, it was  a great icebreaker partially and many people sat with strangers. 

You made people welcome by talking to everyone and I think you have a friend for live in Zachary; he’s looking forward to his next “gig” with you.

You provided entertainment for the whole afternoon with it kicking off with a brilliant quiz to start which led into our break for tea and cake and then the “Afternoon with the stars”; 60 mins of great impressions with non offensive comedy It ran seamlessly.  I had nothing to do just to welcome guests and clear up.  

Chris you were brilliant as usual, so funny and talented. Thank you so much. You provided the full package, quizmaster, compare, entertainer and raffle announcer.  Since Saturday I have received phone calls and text messages congratulating me on the afternoon.  They say:

 “Where did you find him? It was brilliant”.  

 “Didn’t expect that, what fun”

 “Great afternoon really enjoyed it." 

“Well done you for organising. Xx”  

“Wonderful afternoon. Thank you.“

“Such a lovely afternoon x “

“Excellent event yesterday, we really enjoyed it”

Alzheimer's wrecks lives of people who have it and wreaks havoc in their families, it breaks hearts. I personally can't stop it happening but if in some small way I can help the people looking for cures and prevention or help support families then I'm going to keep fundraising by having fun.

Very rough calculations £263.90 profit to be donated to Alzheimer's Society but there may be more.
